Take Up No Space

Hey, I made a zine! This image is from one one of the spreads, and the whole thing is one single small poem broken up onto the facing pages.

With one side of my brain, I’m cultivating an interest in digital productivity outside the space of capital and coercive ecosystems. You know, open source and what not.

With the other side of my brain, I’ve been taking more of an interest in how some of my creative activities, like drawing and writing poetry, might connect more tangibly with the physical world. I am working on a manuscript for a book that I have both illustrated and designed, and I got some office stuff that will let me create zines at home.

My next step will be finding the optimum (real: minimal) method of distribution where people can ask me for something I’ve made and I can print one off and send it to them. I need to look into some of those online storefronts that let me do that. I love that. I can still find these worlds to explore , even as a boring adult.
