Sword of unsealing

I call this my sword of unsealing, my releasing steel. With these edges, I can cut myself beautifully open and step into the breach. My dreams have been carved slowly out of my dense column of years, and with this sword, I can hew it back into its original, unformed state.
When the shadows come for me, sulking and promising and gathering around my head, I will not flinch. I will lift my great sword to the curtain and draw it aside, and those shadows will go where the light guides them: back, back into my armor, into my body, into my stacked recesses, into the story still unraveling before me.
