The question put to us is: do we succumb and offer ourselves as prey? Or do we become elusive and scarce, mean and jagged and toxic? If you don’t, they will eat you body and soul, and expect you to thank them for it.
But you were not born to be convenient.
Do you see my beacon? Do you see the tower, lit and smoking like tallow? Now the world will know…
They will know the tower’s authority is not absolute.

When you’re practicing faces and figures a lot, it’s easy to start getting obsessed with them. So maybe add some cool hair as a distraction.
I am wandering again. This may be why I’ve been slow to post sketches, which require a more deliberate momentum to continue drawing and scanning. I am doing my best to bring several preoccupations together into something larger. I am letting my aspiration lead me.
